It is almost here! 2012 will mark the 100th anniversary of the BBB as an international organization, AND the 50th anniversary of the BBB of Vancouver Island.

Next year will be a milestone to be celebrated and as you can expect many exciting things are planned both locally and internationally.

During the centennial year, we'll be launching several new initiatives, hosting events, and conducting innovative research. We've partnered internationally with leading academic institutions, research powerhouses and business leaders. We're leading the charge to define "trust" in a way that hasn't been done before, to explore and share best practices in self-regulation and to create cutting edge products and programs.

Whether you are a consumer, business or organization there will be multiple opportunities for you to get involved in the Anniversary celebration. If you are not a BBB program sponsor, this is the year to come on board. Our media, business and community profile outreach will be extensive this year, as to will be the opportunity to cost-effectively align your business with an organization based on values of ethics and trust.

Presentations, discussions, events and activities will be taking place across North America. If you are interested in hosting or being involved in any of these please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss.

After all, this celebration is about Advancing Trust Together. Finding solutions to the marketplace's most critical challenges will require the insight and determination of businesses, consumers and policy makers.
