2012 is the year to become a BBB Sponsor! With our 100^th year (internationally) and 50^th year (locally) Anniversary’s taking place, BBB will be in the news, in the community and profiled more than ever before. Take the time now to fit in a BBB Sponsorship into your annual budget!

The BBB of Vancouver Island relies on sponsorships to help fund many of our valuable community programs for businesses and consumers.

Sponsorships provide an excellent opportunity for your business to strongly align itself with the values of the BBB, while spreading your brand and business name throughout the community.

No matter what your business or budget, BBB has a number of custom sponsorships that your company can take advantage of.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Community Partner Program

• The BBB’s monthly column in Business Vancouver Island;
• All Torch Award promotional materials, at the event and as an individual sponsor of an award;
• The inside main page of the BBB Accredited Business Directory (distributed to 168,000 households across the Island)
• All BBB event related print media;
• Every issue of the monthly e-Inquirer (BBBVI’s eNewsletter)
• Every eMinder notification sent out to Accredited Businesses;
• A banner ad located on the BBB of Vancouver Island website.

Torch Award Sponsorship

Each year the BBB hosts the Torch Awards, an event designed to recognize and honour businesses that have made an exemplary commitment to demonstrating ethics in the marketplace. Torch Award sponsors receive significant recognition in all the promotions related to this event, as well as at the event itself.

For $2000 Torch Award Sponsors receive:

• Logo recognition as a sponsor in all awards and event materials produced by the BBB;
• Tickets to the event;
• Recognition as a sponsor of an award category;
• Engraving on an award as a sponsor of that category;
• Special thanks and recognition at the event;
• Logo recognition on all correspondence related to the event;
• Special “Thanks To Our Sponsors” in all pre and post Times Colonist print advertising related to the event;
• A 1/6^th pre or post ad space in the Times Colonist newspaper in an advertising section related to the event.

Only 10 Torch Award Sponsorships are available.

A number of smaller Torch Award Sponsorships will be also announced in the coming months!

Consumer Services Sponsor

Consumers Services Sponsors are businesses that see value in reaching out to customers via the BBB’s website and automated phone system.

BBB’s home page receives on average 8,890 Visitors (6,897 Unique Visitors) per month.

The sponsor message on the BBB’s automated phone system is listened to by an average of 183 customers each month.

For $1500 Consumer Services Sponsors receive:

• 24/7 sponsorship name recognition on the BBB of Vancouver Island’s IVR automated phone line;
• A banner ad on the home page of the BBB of Vancouver Island website (vi.bbb.org);
• Sponsor recognition (logo with hyperlink) of Consumer Tip Video Clip.(Note for an additional $295 you will receive a 10 second animated commercial which will run at the start of each Consumer Tip video).

Only 15 Consumer Services Sponsorships are available.

IVR Sponsor

For Accredited Businesses seeking value added exposure, with a limited budget the BBB also has an IVR (automated phone system) Sponsor program. For $500 your business receives 12 months worth of sponsor recognition on the IVR component of our phone system. Sponsor messages are played an average of 183 times each month to consumers as they navigate through our automated phone system seeking information on local businesses.

Video Sponsor

BBB also has available a Video Sponsor program. For $500 you will receive sponsor recognition of the Consumer Tips Video Clips that run on the BBB website home page. Sponsorship includes your logo and a hyperlink to your website displayed for up to 12 months. BBB’s home page receives on average 8,890 Visitors (6,897 Unique Visitors) per month.
