VICTORIA, BC – The Better Business Bureau (BBB) is pleased to welcome Claire Sear, the new Business Development & Sales Manager, to the Vancouver Island BBB team.
“We are so thrilled to be bringing Claire Sear on board to take over the management of business development and sales at our BBB. As Business Development and Sales Manager, Claire will be responsible for developing sponsorship, community partners, special events and non-dues revenue programs for the BBB,” says Rosalind Scott, Executive Director of the BBB of Vancouver Island.
“We had an intensive search for potential candidates for this new position at the BBB. We were excited when we found Claire who has over 15 years of experience in business related sales and marketing, public relations, event planning and publishing. She will undoubtedly bring a fresh perspective and invaluable experience to our passionate BBB team,” says Scott.
Sear has a broad background in sales and marketing working with prominent businesses across Canada. For the past three years Sear’s has worked in Toronto in the fast paced world of commercial real estate and land development with Cushman & Wakefield LePage. Prior to that she spent four years as a Sales and Marketing Representative with Education Channel General Publishing, and eight years in Vancouver working in differing managerial, sales and business development roles within Canadian Tire.
